Metodos de identificacion de MM.PP. Siluetas de vehiculos para el transporte de MM.PP. por carretera o ferrocarril.

Segun su uso, los remolques o vagones de tren, tienen un diseño caracteristico que identifica, al menos en lineas generales, el tipo de MM.PP. que transporta. En caso de no tener ningun otro tipo de identificacion, la silueta de estos vehiculos puede ayudarnos a saber con que nos enfrentamos.

PRECAUCION: Esta Tabla solamente ilustra las siluetas de remolques en general. El personal de respuesta de emergencias deberá estar conciente de que existen muchas variaciones de remolques que no están ilustrados en esta Tabla, que son utilizados para embarques de productos químicos. Las guías sugeridas aqui, son para los productos más peligrosos que pudieran ser transportados en estos tipos de remolques.

PRECAUCION: El personal de respuesta de emergencia deberá estar consciente de que los carros de ferrocarril tienen amplias variaciones en su construccion, aditamentos y usos. Los carrotanques pueden transportar productos que pueden ser sólidos, liquidos o gaseosos. Los productos pueden estar bajo presión. Es esencial que los productos puedan ser identificados mediante la consulta de los documentos de embarque, el manifiesto del tren o mediante contacto con los centros de despacho, antes de iniciar las acciones de respuesta.
La información impresa a los costados o los extremos de los carrotanques, como se ilustran arriba, pueden utilizarse para identificar el producto transportado, usando para ello:

Victimas de incendios en España 2010

Desde el año 2006 FUNDACIÓN MAPFRE viene desarrollando en colaboración con la Asociación Profesional de Técnicos de Bomberos (APTB) y los Servicios de Bomberos de distintas localidades, tanto españolas como latinoamericanas la “Semana de la Prevención de Incendios”. Esta actividad tiene como objetivo divulgar a la población conocimientos que permitan reconocer los riesgos que pueden presentarse en sus hogares, en sus centros de trabajo y en su entorno, transmitiendo las principales pautas de prevención para evitar los incendios y en el caso de que se produzcan cómo disminuir sus consecuencias.
En cada una de las ediciones, la semana se ha dirigido con mayor intensidad a un colectivo (niños, mayores, amas de casa) o a una situación de riesgo (edifi cios en altura, lugares de publica concurrencia) seleccionados en función de los criterios de las propias organizaciones convocantes.
Durante estos años hemos echado en falta disponer de estudios sobre víctimas de incendios que nos ayudasen a orientar los esfuerzos a aquellos colectivos más vulnerables a este tipo de accidentes, o bien, a aquellas causas que con mayor frecuencia se repiten en el origen de los mismos.
Esta situación, es la que nos ha animado a colaborar con la APTB para la realización del presente estudio: “Víctimas de Incendios en España 2010”, elaborado a partir de los datos obtenidos de diferentes fuentes y que analiza la distribución de víctimas entre distintas variables, como: la edad, el sexo, el lugar donde se produjo, la temporalidad y las causas del origen. Deseamos que este estudio contribuya a tener una visión más cercana de la realidad de los incendios en nuestro país y que nos ayude a orientar las políticas preventivas hacia donde más se necesiten.
Por último, queremos agradecer el esfuerzo por el gran trabajo realizado a APTB y a todos aquellos que han contribuido de una u otra forma a la elaboración de este informe.
